Antratel brought to life a new technology - access to VOIP EXCHANGE. Now, Antratel customers have access to VOIP EXCHANGE and can choose personally right price and quality for calls termination from thousands offers of telecom companies! There is a global VoIP Exchange where telecom providers can sell call connection (termination) services. Each telecom provider has his own gate (physical socket for making a call), call connection (termination) price and call quality which depends on gate parameters. When you call , for example from Moscow to St. Petersburg, you purchase the termination service from a telecom provider . During initiation of a call, the system enumerates gates (every gate has 30 and more PSTN lines). If the first gate is busy then the system takes the next one. The call order is a sequence of gates through which the system tries to make a call. The sequence is generated by the conditions of the gates parameters. Generally, the system makes a connection by picking the lowest connection price from the exchange. Traditionally, VOIP providers have price agreements with telecommunication companies for each route. As a result, they offer fixed termination call prices, sometimes, much higher than prices on the exchange.

4 WAYS TO CALL

There are 4 ways to call. The cheapest one is to be a SIP client (see below). SIP clients use the INTERNET as transport for CALLS - that is why SIP calls cheaper than calls using LANDLINE. Our company supports all call methods except the first.

This way is similar to 3, you have to purchase equipment to be a SIP client and the person you call also has to have SIP equipment. But because you do not need a land line, your calls are free of charge anytime!

4 WAYS TO BE a SIP client

To be a SIP client there are 4 types of equipment. Our company supports all equipment plus equipment for offices.

Computer + Software + PC headset + Internet This is the cheapest way. You have to purchase PC headset and install X-Lite program for free or upgrade Windows Messenger. Two disadvantages: you have to keep your computer switched ON and every time put on headset.	Phone + adapter + Internet This is way you have to purchase SIP adapter and connect your ordinary phone to the adapter. You will be always switched ON even if computer turned OFF.	Computer + ASDL2 modem + Regular phone + Internet This is the most complicated way. You have to purchase ADSL2 modem + have ADSL internet. But you will be always switched ON even if your computer is turned OFF.	SIP phone + Internet This is the most expensive way but the most simple. You have to purchase IP phone and connect internet to the phone. You will be always switched ON even if computer turned OFF.
